OTHER SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS

Some of our dogs are better suited for jobs other than guidework. A dog may be appropriate for our K9 Buddy program, where dogs are matched with youth who are visually-impaired in a non-guide capacity. We also work with a number of local partner organizations in diverse fields such as diabetic detection, hearing dogs, service dogs for PTSD, and search and rescue.

Our goal is to maximize each dog's potential. Labradors and Golden Retrievers are working breeds and they are often most happy when given a job to do.
