Akira

Akira is a male yellow lab. He was born on September 4, 2016 to Upton and Ember. He is being raised by the King family.

Akira was recalled for formal training on November 11, 2017. He graduated as a guide dog on March 24, 2017.

​

The litter of seven puppies includes black males Adama and Agassi, yellow males Akira and Alf, black female Alima and yellow females Adele and Asia.

​

As part of Guide Dogs for the Blind's mutually beneficial cooperative breeding relationships with guide and service dog schools around the world, the following puppies have been donated to another service dog organization: Adele and Asia.
